Interested in Joining Us?
At Community School Collaborative, our volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do. From chaperoning students through Cougar Career Days to mentoring a young entrepreneur through a semester-long Job Shadow experience — every hour you give connects a Park County middle schooler to a future they may not have imagined for themselves.
Whether you have an day to spare or a semester to invest, there is a place for you on our team.
Ways to Volunteer:
Cougar Career Days
Join us for one of our upcoming Cougar Career Days and help guide 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students through a full day of hands-on career exploration. Volunteers assist with student supervision, logistics, and creating a welcoming and engaging environment for every student in attendance. No special skills required — just a passion for young people and a willingness to show up.
Job Shadow Mentor
Do you have a career, a business, or a professional skill set you are proud of? Become a Job Shadow mentor and open your workplace to a middle school student for eight weeks of real, on-the-job learning. As a mentor you will help a young person understand what your career looks like from the inside — the daily tasks, the professional expectations, and the skills it takes to succeed. It is one of the most impactful things you can do for a Park County student.
Student Transportation
Help us get students where they need to go! CSC relies on volunteer drivers to transport Job Shadow students to and from their weekly placements. If you have time during school hours and a willingness to help, this is a meaningful and flexible way to support our program.
