Thank you so much for signing up to volunteer for our 8th Grade Student Career Day at glassybaby on November 5th, 2026. We are absolutely thrilled to have you on our team!

Student Career Days are one of the most exciting and impactful events we offer, bringing together hundreds of Park County middle school students for a full day of hands-on career exploration across multiple industries and professions. These days are filled with energy, curiosity, and the kind of moments that stay with a young person long after they leave the room.

And none of it is possible without volunteers like you.

When you show up for a Student Career Day you are doing something genuinely meaningful. You are helping guide curious young people through experiences that expand what they believe is possible for their lives. You are being the kind of caring adult that research tells us makes all the difference: the person who shows up and makes a student feel seen, supported, and excited about their future.

Here is what you can expect on the day:

  • A warm and welcoming team of CSC staff and fellow volunteers who will make sure you feel prepared and supported

  • A structured and well-organized day with clear guidance on your role and responsibilities

  • The opportunity to spend meaningful time with Park County's remarkable middle school students

  • An experience that we think you will find just as rewarding as the students do

Because our volunteers work directly with young students, everyone who joins our team is required to complete a background check through the Livingston School District before getting started. It's a quick, straightforward process, and our team is happy to walk you through each step. We simply want every family to know their student is in good hands. This background check can take up to 10 days, so please click the link and set up an appointment at your earliest convenience!

A member of our team will be in touch soon with additional waivers and manuals you will need to read and sign, as well as details about the event including the date, location, schedule, and anything else you need to know to feel fully prepared. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions at operations@csc4kids.org.

We are so grateful for your willingness to give your time to Park County's young people. They are lucky to have someone like you showing up for them, and so are we.

With deep gratitude and so much excitement,

Erin Barcus
